From the speech  of Joel Nguno:
________________________________________

It is a great privilege for us to be part of this wonderful celebration to mark 30 years of the Home.
It has been a long journey, but thanks to the efforts of many of us the Home still stands strong  and we hope that this will continue for many years to come.

This Home has changed the lives of many like me, and we appreciate the work that has been done to make this possible. I remember coming with a bone infection which caused a shortening of 7 inches. The Home made it possible for me to get cured of the severe infection and now they are working on lengthening my leg with this external device.

We are grateful that now we have our lives back and we can go to the society proud of how we are now.
On behalf of everyone who has ever received help from the Home, I would like to thank God for making the existence of the Home possible, the Founders of the Home, those who support the Home financially, socially and spiritually, the Sisters, the Doctors, the Advisory Committee Members and our Staff.
